GROUND WATER INVESTIGATION

GROUND WATER INVESTIGATION

Ground Water is a significant source of water supply. Almost 60% of global groundwater is used for irrigation. The rest is mostly used in household and Industry. The unplanned and unscientific development of ground water resources has led to increasing stress on the available resources as is observed in long term decline of ground water levels, quality deterioration, saline water ingression in coastal area and desaturation of aquifers in India and other Countries. With this challenge, the United Exploration India Private Limited (UEIPL) provides scientific inputs for management, exploration, monitoring, assessment, augmentation of ground water resources all over India and abroad. The UEIPL is actively engaged in operating various types of hydrogeological investigations like identification of sub-surface geological formation and promising water yielding horizon, assessment of ground water potential, best location for installation of Tube Well, evaluation & development of water resources including its management by expert Hydrogeologist. Rainwater Harvesting and Artificial Recharge, Construction of Check Dam, Percolation Tank, Water Well Drilling and application of Remote Sensing Technologies and GIS are also carried out by this Organization. The UEIPL can also help different Stakeholders by depicting water potential zones underneath, its quality as well as treatment of waste water management. This organization also undertakes special studies on various aspects such as ground water depletion, sea water ingress, ground water contamination, conjunctive use of surface & ground water, water balance etc.
