Exploration Management in UEIPL involves- reconnaissance survey, Geological mapping, Integration of Topographic Map, Geological Map & Satellite Imagery, Surface Geophysical study for delineating the prospect, Preliminary Geological Exploration; scout drilling, down-hole geophysical logging, trenching & pitting, Detailed exploratory drilling & sampling analysis, Geological Modelling etc.

Geological prospecting and exploration for coal and mineral is a set of industrial and R&D activities for geological study of subsurface resources, identification of promising areas, discovery of fields, their evaluation and pre-development. The final objective of geological prospecting is estimating the subsurface resources. The main principle of geological prospecting is the comprehensive geological study of subsurface resources, possibility and practicality of their production or utilization are investigated;

hydrogeological, mining, engineering, geological and other studies are performed; natural, climatic, socioeconomic, geological and economic conditions and their changes caused by future field development are analyzed. We followed UNFC guideline and law of the land while exploring the

mother earth. Economic axis, Feasibility axis and Geology axis are being taken into consideration for preparation of geological report after completion of exploratory works.
